Sam Smith:
Unholy

Occultism in Hollywood

In our leisure moments, many of us find ourselves reaching for our phones to engage in a familiar pastime: scrolling through our Instagram feeds. Occasionally, we stumble upon a newly released song that effortlessly lodges itself in our minds for days on end. Interestingly, it's not merely a coincidence that the most memorable songs often bear an edgier, provocative essence, such as Sam Smith's latest release titled "Unholy."

A recurring pattern seems to emerge within the music industry. Record labels initially seek out exceptionally talented individuals who come across as clean-cut and present songs designed to win the hearts of their audience. Once this fan loyalty is secured, some record companies then orchestrate a transformation in the artist's image, turning them into a more provocative, sexually charged, blasphemous, and scandalous persona (which, unsurprisingly, is no longer shocking to those privy to the industry's tactics). Even an artist's sexual orientation becomes part of this calculated exploitation.
In the case of Sam Smith's recent single, we witness a provocative dance featuring individuals in various states of undress, holding condoms, with transsexuals, crossdressers, and effeminate men performing explicit dances reminiscent of orgies. What's intriguing is the video's unmistakable resemblance to the film "Eyes Wide Shut," which delved into the lifestyle of Freemasons.

The central theme revolves around infidelity and participation in Masonic rituals. The song's title, "Unholy," serves as an early indicator of the morally questionable events to follow, though regrettably, many fail to grasp this overt hint.
Notably, the video contains numerous Masonic symbols, including the intricate floor plan displayed at the video's outset, Sam Smith making the triple six-hand gesture, and the singer donning a hat adorned with devil-like horns. What adds to the intrigue is that Sam Smith's transformation was underway right from the outset of his career when his image appeared polished and seemingly innocent. It becomes apparent that his entire career trajectory was carefully orchestrated by occultists working behind the scenes.

Consider Sam Smith's 2013 song and its video for "La la la," which delves into an old Bolivian legend steeped in dark folklore and black magic. The story revolves around a young boy who escapes an abusive family and befriends a dog with whom he embarks on a journey. Along the way, he encounters various individuals and discovers his purported gift of healing. According to Scripture, true healing comes solely from Jesus Christ, and all other powers are attributed to demonic influences. The boy also encounters a man disfigured by a demon's curse, a curse said to befall anyone who hears the demon's voice. The trio decides to confront the demon, with the video leaving their ultimate fate unclear. However, it suggests that the boy may have been sacrificed to break the curse.

In sum, this story is eerie and somber, shedding light on the overarching plan for Sam Smith's career, which appears to have been conceived from its inception. As Christians, we must remain vigilant against the strategies of the adversary and refrain from participating in darkness or supporting artists who have made their allegiances abundantly clear. Instead, our duty lies in exposing such influences and encouraging others to do the same, all while keeping the lost in our prayers, in the hope that they may ultimately bear witness to the Glory of God.
